Quote Of The Day
"Talent hits a target no one else can hit; Genius hits a target no one else can see.”
From: Mark Flournoy
Think And Grow Rich Software
Hello My Rich Friend,
--- Welcome to MARK'S CORNER ---
I think I'm pregnant. Not with a baby of course, but with special information that needs to get out. Information like the report on How To Combine The Law of Attraction and Think And Grow Rich.
Have you ever felt like you could accomplish so much more than you're doing?
Recently, that's what it's felt like for me. So I turned to Napoleon Hill's work. After much reflection, and extra research on the law of attraction, the idea for the below article appeared. And it's given me a new level of productivity.
By depending on and using the new insights in today's main article, I've increased writing productivity ( on my blog at www.ThinkRichBlog.com ). And, I created the audios for the secrets of the steps to riches mini-course that I sent you last week. By the way, I really appreciate the fantastic feedback that was left on my blog. Thank You Very, Very Much!
I hope today's article will give you the same
boost it's given me.
--- MAIN ARTICLE ----
Why Action Is NOT One Of Napoleon Hill's 13 Steps To Riches?Should 'action' be one of the steps to riches?
It's commonly thought that lack of action is one of the leading causes of failure but that might be a misconception. In fact, it's possible that taking action could be preventing you from achieving your dreams.
You're probably thinking, "Mark is absolutely wrong on this one" but bear with me for a just moment.
I knew and know many hard working poor people (and my mom was one of them). That's how I learned that working hard and taking action alone cannot be the answer. But don't take my word for it... listen to the below quote.
Dr. John Eliot, in his book "Overachievement", said, "Hard work will no more make you an inspired performer than practicing your penmanship will earn you a Pulitzer prize for poetry"
Napoleon Hill must have agreed because after meeting with over 500 of America's richest people he captured the 13 essential steps to riches. And "Action" was not one of them.
Why?
I think I have an answer for you. Consider this.
When you pull the trigger of a gun, you don't worry about the bullet
taking action. Isn't that right?
No one sits down with the bullet and says "You can go long and far. I
know you can do it! I believe in you"
You might say "Mark, that's crazy! The bullet has just gotten a powerful
explosive charge."
That's fair. But realize that someone designed that gun so when you the pull
trigger, 99% of the time, the bullet responds with massive action.
Now let me ask you. How have you designed your life? When a new
day is triggered how do you respond?
If you want to respond with targeted massive action then you are at the
right place. Napoleon Hill created a solution for that. He designed the 13 steps to riches. I
dare say that when you 'properly' use the 13 steps to riches you'll
shoot forward to achieve your dreams...just like a bullet out of a gun.
The que
stion is:
are you properly using the steps to riches? How do you know if
you're using them
correctly?
Well, answer the below questions to find out.
Does your desire give you an explosive charge?
Is your definite purpose clearly targeted?
Does your faith let you fly fearlessly ahead?
Of course, your efforts should be spent aiming the gun before you pull the trigger.
Have you aimed using imagination, organized planning, your subconscious
mind and even a master mind group?
Dr. John Elliot, a peak
performance consultant and author of the book "Overachievement"
agrees. Take a look at the below quote:
Quote Of The Day
"Target shooting is all about what happens before you pull the trigger"
Mental Preparation Before You ACT Can Be More
Important
Than Taking Action - But There Is A Fine Line
There is a huge danger of NOT acting at all. Too many people get stuck in the mental preparation stage. They 'aim' but never fire. That's probably why Napoleon Hill's 7th Step to Riches is Decision. The truth is that your day's mental preparation should only take a few minutes. So it's not an excuse to procrastinate.
Even more important than your day's preparation is your life preparation. That's where your definite purpose comes in. That's why I give an audio with a detailed process for creating your definite purpose to everyone who gets Think Rich Software. It's one of the bonus CDs.
It's equally important to get the most from each step to riches. The more you understand and stretch the power of those almost magical steps, the faster you'll fly towards your intended target. It's another reason why each step to riches includes colorful diagrams with audio explanations, action steps, and much more in Think Rich Software
One last thing, please use the "bullet out of a gun" metaphor lightly. I used it only to illustrate the power of using the steps to riches. I absolutely believe that if you're using the steps to riches correctly then decisive action will naturally flow from it. But unlike a bullet, you'll make intelligent course corrections along the way.
--- FUNNY OF THE DAY ----
Funny of The Day:
One of Microsoft's finest technicians was drafted and sent
to boot camp. At the rifle range, he was given some
instruction, a rifle and bullets. He fired several shots at
the target. The report came from the target area that all
attempts had completely missed the target.
The tech looked at his rifle, and then at the target. He
looked at the rifle again, and then at the target again. He
put his finger over the end of the rifle barrel and squeezed
the trigger with his other hand. The end of his finger was
blown off, whereupon he yelled toward the target area, "It's
leaving here just fine, the trouble must be at your end!"
I guess that's what you call commitment, not too smart though. Mark. :-)
Well, that's all for today. And don't forget to... Think And Grow Rich!
Mark
