I'm driving to my mom's house in the Mojave Dessert. It's a 95 mile drive but it'll be good to see my mom, brothers and sisters. Mom had seven kids, 5 boys and 2 girls. So we'll have quite a crowd.

Let me share a word that is commonly used but seldom appreciated. It has almost magical power.

I promise that this word will surprise and empower you.

When others have started articles like this, one word they recommend is the word "Yes". I agree that 'Yes' is a powerful word. But it's NOT the word I'm suggesting today.

This word came to me when I considered how often I get off track. Many of the 'gurus' imply that success is a straight line but for most people the truth is that success is often the result of unexpected failures, bumps and bruises.
 

Napoleon Hill in Think And Grow Rich went into great detail describing how you can overcome difficulty and uncover your more powerful 'other self'. Even after hitting rock-bottom and often suffering the pains of poverty.

The almost magic word is 'over'.

'over' conceals itself in some very interesting words... words I've used in this article.

'Over' is hidden in the words 'poverty', 'overwork', 'covertly' and 'controversy'. And it's also hidden in an inspiring set of words like 'discover', 'uncover', 'start over' and 'lover'.

Here's where this really works out. Once you are in bad situation hover over the below steps to start over and find success:

• Uncover the seed of greater success that Napoleon Hill promises is hidden in every problem
• Overthrow the forces that hold you back
• Overrule the negative thoughts that try to sabotage your success
• Start Over - re-commit to using the 13 keys to riches and start again

Finally, you'll overpower limiting forces. Become a lover of life. And before long, your journey to success will be over.

Use the power of 'over' and you'll become as lucky as a 3-leaf clover (sorry, I couldn't resist). Ok, before I completely over do it let me bring this to an end.

So my proverb is that when I do something good I say to myself "over". Then I do it again for increased advantage. When I get stuck in a ditch I 'start over'. And most of all, I am a lover of life. It's simple, direct and powerful.
